Instructions for Speakers

Please prepare your PowerPoint presentation in a 16:9 format.
According to EACCME and the Hessian Medical Association, all speakers are asked to disclose any potential conflicts of interest at the beginning of their presentation. Feel free to use the PowerPoint template, which must remain visible for at least 10 seconds.

Our IT service provider, ESTENSIS, will send you a link for uploading your presentation in advance of the congress. Please upload your presentation no later than 24 hours before your lecture.

Additionally, the ESTENSIS team will be available at the Media Center during the congress to assist with any questions. The Media Center will be open during the following times:

  • Thursday, 5th June 2025: 08:00 AM – 07:00 PM
  • Friday, 6th June 2025: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
  • Saturday, 7th June 2025: 08:30 AM – 05:30 PM

Speakers who submit their presentation on-site are requested to hand in their electronic materials at the Media Center at least one hour before their session. You can review your materials and make any last-minute changes with the ESTENSIS team. The files will then be made available on a congress laptop in the lecture hall. A technical staff member will be on hand to assist. For organizational reasons, we kindly ask that no personal laptops be used in the lecture hall.

Technical Requirements for Your Presentation

Accepted formats for presentations are PowerPoint and PDF. If you are using a MacBook for creating your presentation, please be aware that it may be displayed on a PC. We recommend testing your presentation on a PC in advance. If you are using Apple Keynote to create your presentation, please save it as a PDF or PowerPoint file.

Presentations that use non-standard Windows 10 or Office 365 fonts should be saved with the "embed fonts" option enabled.

All videos should be embedded directly into the PowerPoint presentation to avoid uploading additional video files. If you are using linked videos, please upload the videos along with the PowerPoint presentation. We recommend using standard Windows 10 video formats, ideally H.264-encoded MP4 video files.

To avoid font display issues, we suggest using the following widely available fonts: Arial, Courier, Courier New, Geneva, Georgia, Helvetica, Times, Times New Roman.

The most common modern video formats (*wmv, *mp4), which can be played on a standard Windows 10 computer using Windows Media Player, are supported. Please note that MOV files are not supported (even if embedded).

There are no size restrictions for file uploads.
