Can I register on-site in Frankfurt?
Yes, please come to the registration counter during the opening hours. However, we recommend registering online in advance to avoid long waiting times. Additionally, your congress registration includes a free public transport ticket, which you can only receive upon completing your registration and payment. Further, the registration on-site will be more expensive.
Can I book Socials and Training Courses on-site?
While it is possible to add social events and training courses in Frankfurt, please note that many sessions have limited capacity. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we highly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot.

The Congress Center is located at the heart of the town with ideal connections to hotels, public transport and parking spaces, and just a ten-minute walk from the Central Station. Right next door in the same building complex is the Maritim Hotel Frankfurt.
HOW TO GET TO THE FRANKFURT CONGRESS CENTER
From Frankfurt (Main) Hbf - Main Train Station
By Metro: Take the U5/U4 Line to Festhalle/Messe and walk for ~ 7 minutes
Suburban train lines S3, S4, S5 and S6 will take you to the trade fair grounds (station: “Frankfurt (Main) Messe”)
By Bus: Take the M46 to Frankfurt (Main) Platz der Einheit (2 stops) and walk for ~ 3 minutes
By Tram: Take the line 16/17 to Frankfurt (Main) Festhalle/Messe (3 stops) and walk for ~ 7 minutes
The Congress Centre is also just a short walk (~17 minutes) from the main station.
From Frankfurt Airport:
By Metro: Take the S8 or S9 line to Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof and follow the instructions above. Please note that Frankfurt Airport has two train stations: the long-distance station (Fernbahnhof) and the regional station. While trains from both stations can take you to the city, the congress public transport ticket is only valid for the S8 and S9 lines from the regional station.

Does the registration fee include free public transportation?
Yes, EBCOG has organised with the TCF as official partner a free ticket for public transport in Frankfurt am Main for all participants for the entire duration of the congress. The ticket is valid on all buses, trams, underground trains, and S-Bahn trains of the RMV in Frankfurt am Main (2nd class, including the regional lines from the airport) from 4 June to 7 June, 2025. The ticket must be requested through your congress account under the tab "Online Registration", and payment is required in advance.

What is included in the congress registration fee?
Registration fee for the participants includes:
- Admission to the scientific congress sessions (excl. Workshops and Skill Sessions, these can be booked additionally)
- Admission to technical exhibition
- U.E.M.S. and CME certificate / certificate of participation
- Participation in the opening and closing ceremony
- Free public transport ticket for 4 days (4-7th June) for Frankfurt
I won't be able to attend the congress on-site. Is virtual attendance possible?
This year's congress is an on-site event and won't be live-streamed nor recorded. If you can't attend this year's congress, we hope to welcome you to the 30th European Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Rome, Italy.

Your login details consist of your e-mail address and a password you assigned for yourself during registration. If you have forgotten your password, please click on “Reset password” and a reset link will be sent to you. If you can't remember your email address, please reach out to ebcog-congress@cpo-hanser.de.
I also booked additional courses such as Hands-on Trainings, Interactive Courses, or Workshops. What do I need to know to attend?
Registrations are handled on a 'first-come, first-served' basis. Registration fee per session: EUR 120. For cost-conscious participants, a "Buy 3, Pay for 2" package is available, consisting of HOT and IC courses. Please note that all courses will take place at the same time every day.
Only valid in combination with the congress registration fee.
What happens if my registration fees are not fully paid?
You will not be able to receive your name badge at the registration counter or badge-print-out station and will be asked to pay the outstanding amount or present proof of payment. Please make sure to check your account to see whether your registration is fully paid before the congress starts.
If you did not pay your registration fee yet, please log in to your account at the congress website My Bookings - Congress Account - My Account - EBCOG Congress with your e-mail address and your password. The outstanding amount needs to be paid by credit card or bank transfer. We strongly encourage credit card payment after 1 June 2025.
Which catering is included in the congress registration fee?
Coffee and tea are served during the designated coffee breaks, free of charge to all registered participants in the exhibition area. We also have water refill stations across the congress venue. Please bring your own water bottle and help make the congress more sustainable.
Where can I view the complete scientific programme?
Please have a look at the Online Programme and in our congress app. There will also be a pocket programme on-site available.
Will the EBCOG congress be CME accredited?
We are seeking approval from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME)® and Landesärztekammer Hessen to provide CME credits for the scientific programme of the congress.
Our application is currently in the submission process. We will update the status as soon as we have new information to share.
I will need a CME certificate and/or certificate of attendance. How can I get one?
Starting 9 June 2025, a link for “CME Certificate and/or Certificate of Attendance” will be visible on the website. Please evaluate the EBCOG congress first by completing the questionnaire. Afterwards, the respective certificate(s) will be e-mailed to you.
Are there any industry sessions planned during this congress?
Yes, the industry will present their new findings and products in the field of EBCOG. All industry sponsored sessions can be attended by paid delegates. Industry sessions do not belong to the scientific programme. CME points cannot be obtained for sessions sponsored by the industry. There are two sessions types for Industry Symposia: Lunch Symposia and HotSpot Sessions.
When is the technical exhibition, and do I need to pay an additional fee to visit it?
The congress will be accompanied by a technical exhibition taking place in the room "Areal" and can be visited free of charge for paid delegates.

What do I need to know about the abstract types?
EBCOG has 4 different abstract types. There is no option for paper or e-poster presentation.

Please note that the presentation of an abstract needs to be on-site, there will be no option to present virtually. Please make sure to be present for your assigned presentation time.
Can I change my abstract type?
No. The abstract type has been assigned by the scientific committee based on the relevance of your abstract and or the scientific value or formal criteria. It is at the discretion of the committee to make a selection.
Can I present my abstract remotely?
All presentations have to be delivered in person and exclusively on-site in Frankfurt. No remote presentations are accepted or possible.
I can't come to the congress. What will happen with my abstract?
Please inform the organising committee (ebcog-congress@cpo-hanser.de) of your situation. If you have a co-author or someone else from your facility who can present the abstract on your behalf, please let us know as soon as possible. If your abstract will not be presented on-site, it will not be featured in the abstract book.
Is there anything else I need to do?
According to EACCME and the Hessian Medical Association, all speakers are asked to disclose any potential conflicts of interest at the beginning of their presentation. Feel free to use the PowerPoint template, which must remain visible for at least 10 seconds.

As an invited speaker or chairperson, do I need to register via the website?
No, you don’t have to register via the website. You have already been registered free of charge by the Congress Office. You have received an e-mail prior to the congress to activate your account.
I did not receive any login details because I did not register by myself. How can I add additional bookings?
If you did not register by yourself, you should have received an account activation e-mail to your e-mail address with the request to activate your account and to assign a password for yourself. You will be able to add additional bookings, such as interactive courses or hands-on trainings to your registration. Should you have any further questions, please contact ebcog-congress@cpo-hanser.de.
I am an invited speaker - how, when and where do I upload my slides?
Speakers will be invited to upload their slides prior to the congress. Uploading them online is the easiest way to submit your slides. If you have done the upload already and need to make a change in the presentation, please notify the Congress Office at ebcog-congress@cpo-hanser.de. If you are not able to upload your slides online prior to the congress, there will be a Speakers’ Center at the venue for last-minute submissions.
